Designed as a seamless continuation of the first phase, this expansion of the Foundation Offices takes on the materials and details of the original TI while giving the tenant more private offices, conference rooms, and shared spaces. A new sculptural stair with plate steel guardrails and floating white oak treads connects levels one and two. Opportunities for placing and integrating art were carefully thought through during design to create intentional vignettes as one moves through the space. Soft daylight from existing north facing windows lends the whole space a gallery-like glow.

The new stair features rift-cut white oak treads, seemingly folded steel guardrails, and continuous wood handrails. Together the elements create a design moment that impresses on it’s own, yet blends beautifully with it’s surroundings.
