Nestled in the new neighborhood of Millwork Commons is the district’s first multifamily apartment building; Hello. The five-story, 171-unit Hello Apartments features 21 unique one- and two-bedroom floor plans, each named “hello” in different languages. Building on the developer’s desire to create a building that nurtures individual and environmental wellness, Hello includes solar power, a well outfitted fitness center, various outdoor courtyards featuring public art, and a rooftop deck with sweeping views of the district’s green space that sits between the historic Ashton and Mastercraft buildings.

Adjacent to Hello Apartments is The Prairie; a programmable green space featuring native and pollinator species, skate park, half-court basketball, and kids play area. This park is shared and open to all Millwork Commons visitors.
The building’s playful nature is apparent even from a distance; from the vibrant yellow balconies and exterior details to Sal, the avatar with thick glasses peaking over the parapet. Hello’s “hi.” signage invites the curious into a previously little-visited pocket of downtown.
