APMA and Omaha Economic Development Corporation (OEDC) collaborated on this one-of-a-kind space along N. 24th Street. The marketplace consists of micro-retail units for eight small businesses made of adapted shipping containers. A new building mimics the shape of the original Fair Deal Cafe and includes space for tenants such as a restaurant and small grocery store. The project benefited from HUD financing and the end result is a unique experience anchored in historical context that sets the standard for future development in the area.
